Miss Slovenia Rebeka Dremelj, while the model cast include several Miss Universe participants.
Over 15 different designer lines all made or based in Slovenia will be presenting their spring/summer
2006 collection. Despite being unknown in the North America, Slovene apparel manufacturers are often
approached by top designer houses to manufacture their clothing lines. Many of the brands shown at
this fashion event are made by the same manufacturers that are partnered with Hugo Boss, La Perla,
Dolce & Gabbana and Strenesse, to name a few. The brands shown are all made with the same care
and precision the top fashion houses demand.
The fashion show is held at the Concert Hall at the Carlu, 444 Yonge St. in Toronto. The reception starts
at 5:00 pm in the Foyer in front of the Concert Hall. The fashion show begins at 5:30 pm and it will last
half an hour. Afterwards you are welcome to the trade show in the Foyer, where you can refresh yourself,
sample the brochures and chat with the designers and representatives of the brands.
